Day 1 - Arrive in Vancouver 

Welcome to Vancouver.  Your package provides a voucher for the airport shuttle bus.  The bus stops right at your hotel.   The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver is one of Vancouver’s most beautiful hotels.  This deluxe historic property will pamper you with delightful accommodations and exceptional service.

Day 2 - VIA Rail Vancouver to Jasper

We have arranged a Vancouver sightseeing tour for the morning, leaving time this afternoon at leisure.  Your train departs late afternoon, so plan to take a taxi from the hotel to the station allowing check in one hour prior to departure.

 Nothing shows you Canada like a trip on the train.  Your bedroom is VIA Rail’s “top of the line” accommodation.  Your sitting room by day converts to upper and lower berths at night.  Once aboard the train, the staff will see you settled into your room.  As a Silver and Blue Class passenger, your fare includes all meals, use of any of the lounges and access to the skyline car for spectacular viewing.

Day 3 - Enroute to Jasper

You will wake this morning to the beauty of the Canadian Rockies, as you continue your rail journey to Jasper, morning coffee and a full Canadian breakfast are offered prior to your arrival in Jasper.  The staff of the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge will meet you at the train station and transfer you to the Lodge. Jasper has one of the finest golf courses in Canada.  When the Lodge installed their sprinkler system, the local elk population thought it was done on their behalf.  Bring your camera, as munching elk are not unusual.  Consider a visit to Mt. Edith Cavil, or the Jasper Tramway, the longest aerial tramway in Canada where Whistler Mountain offers breathtaking views and a mountaintop restaurant.

Day 4- Jasper to Lake Louise

Your transfer to Lake Louise leaves at 12:50PM.  The drive is beautiful.  Your arrival at the Chateau gives you time to view the lake and enjoy the grounds before dinner.  The beauty of Lake Louise and the Chateau is unique.  Only when you see the view from the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise can you understand why people say it must be seen to be believed.

Day 5 – Lake Louise to Banff

Enjoy a leisurely morning at Lake Louise and plan an afternoon transfer to Banff.  When you arrive at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, you will see that it is a village within a hotel.  If you are a lover of spa, you will quickly realize that the Banff Springs Spa is in a class by itself.

Day 6 – Banff

Bring your camera, as your “Discover Banff” tour takes you along Tunnel Mountain Drive for a great view of Banff.  Visit the Cave and Basin National Historical Site, stroll along Lake Minnewanka and take a gondola ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain.

Day 7 – Transfer Banff to Calgary Airport

Bid farewell to the beautiful Canadian Rockies, with a promise to return very soon.
