Day 1 – Arrive Toronto Welcome to Toronto! You will be met at the Toronto Airport and taken to the Fairmont Royal York by limousine. The Fairmont Royal York has a separate check in on the 12th floor for Fairmont Gold guests. Indulgences extended to guests include the use of an exclusive lounge, which features complimentary deluxe continental breakfast, morning newspaper, and complimentary coffee, tea and cafe au latté through out the day, with canapés served at cocktail hour. Fairmont Gold rooms are furnished with beautiful and elegantly appointed traditional decor. All rooms have a CD player, service-free long-distance calls, complimentary shoeshine and nightly turndown service. Overnight – Fairmont Royal York – Fairmont Gold Day 2 & 3 – VIA Enroute to Jasper The Fairmont Royal York is conveniently located across the street from the VIA rail station. Today you embark on your two day journey to Jasper. Enjoy a dream voyage in the intimacy of a private suite. You will be spoiled with: fresh flowers, chocolates on the pillow, top-quality sparkling wine as the train leaves... every evening, you spend on aboard! Your spacious suite, comprising two converted regular bedrooms, will be the envy of other passengers. Crisp bed linen and an inviting down duvet await you. And if you have a quick word with your attendant before retiring, he will bring you breakfast in bed! Romance by Rail has been designed just for you and your "significant other". Enjoy the scenery as you whisk by the ever changing Canadian landscape. OverNights – VIA Rail – Suite Day 4 - Jasper An afternoon arrival is scheduled and you will be met at the station by the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge staff for your transfer to the Lodge. The grounds of the Lodge are absolutely lovely. Inside the lobby is a huge double fireplace with ample seating to relax and look out over Lac Beauvert. Your accommodations at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge for the next two Nights will feature a Lake Side suite. While in Jasper consider some of these activities: Dog Sledding, Ice Canyon Walk, snow mobile tour, Sno-Shoeing, or just relax in the lobby by the warmth of the fire. Overnight – Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge – Lakeside Suite Day 5- Jasper Overnight – Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge – Lakeside Suite Day 6– Jasper to Vancouver You have the morning to relax and enjoy the beauty of Jasper. Your train departs this afternoon and we have arranged for the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge to take you to the station. Once again you will have the luxury of the “Suite Romance by Rail” enroute to Vancouver. The scenery out of Jasper is breathtaking, be sure to get a seat in the dome car! Overnight – VIA Rail – Suite Day 7– Arrive Vancouver You are scheduled to arrive Vancouver at 8:50am. Once again, you are confirmed for a Fairmont Gold room at either the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. Drop off your luggage at the hotel and set out to explore this magnificent city. Some of the sites not to miss are: Stanley Park, Gastown, Granville Island, China Town, and the Bloedel Gardens. Overnight – Fairmont Hotel Vancouver Day 8 – Depart Vancouver Limousine transportation has been arranged for your transportation from your hotel to the Vancouver Airport. |
