DAY 1 – ARRIVE CALGARY/BANFF

Your package includes transportation from the Calgary airport to the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel and resort.  When you arrive at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, you will see that it is a village within a hotel.  The Banff Springs can boast of its wonderful Spa and spectacular golf course!

Overnight – Fairmont Banff Springs

 

DAY 2 – BANFF

Your “Discover Banff” tour takes you along Tunnel Mountain Drive for a stunning view of Banff.  The tour also includes the Cave and Basin National Historic Site, a stop along Lake Minnewanka, and a gondola ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain for spectacular views of the surrounding area.

DAY 3 – BANFF TO LAKE LOUISE

A mid-day transfer from Banff to Lake Louise is planned.  You will have ample time to view the lake and enjoy the grounds before dinner.  The beauty of Lake Louise and the Chateau are unparalleled!   Only when you see the view from The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise can you understand why people say, "It must be seen to be believed."

DAY 4 – LAKE LOUISE TO JASPER

Your transfer to Jasper departs at 4:15PM. The drive is beautiful! With the long summer days, you will have time to enjoy this scenic resort before nightfall.

Overnight – Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge

 

DAY 5 – VIA RAIL JASPER TO VANCOUVER

Your train is scheduled to depart at 2:15PM, so you have all morning to enjoy the surrounding beauty of the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge.  Transportation from the lodge to the VIA station is included.  Your rail journey through the Canadian Rockies begins today.  VIA Rail’s “Silver & Blue Class” provides you with a private sitting room by day, that converts to upper and lower berths at night.  All your meals are included while on-board, as well as access to the lounges and dome cars for spectacular viewing.

DAY 6 – ARRIVE VANCOUVER

You will arrive into Vancouver early this morning.  As your hotel room may not be available for check-in, we suggest you leave your bags at the hotel and use your sightseeing tour to explore this lovely city.

DAY 7 – ALASKA CRUISE

The Fairmont Waterfront is just across the street from your cruise departure point.  You will feel like a welcome guest the moment you step aboard Holland America’s ship.  Lunch will be available to boarding guests.

DAY 8 – CRUISING THE INSIDE PASSAGE
This afternoon you will arrive in Juneau, the capital of Alaska. Located at the foot of grand mountain peaks on the Gastineau Channel, the town of Juneau has the massive Mendenhall Glacier and the immense Juneau Icefields at its back door. Juneau is the place to let your imagination run wild. Explore the lush Tongass National Forest, visit the rustic shops in town or get out and kayak, dogsled, raft, hike, whale watch, FlightSee or fish. There’s no end to the adventure because of the long daylight hours. Climb aboard the Mt. Roberts Tramway for a great spot to hike and shoot a souvenir photo.

 

DAY  9 – JUNEAU

Juneau is the capital of Alaska and offers some interesting sightseeing.  Ride up Mt. Roberts on the gondola, visit the Mendenhall Glacier and check out the Red Dog Saloon where you can enjoy a cold brew in an old-time atmosphere.

 

DAY 10 -  SKAGWAY

Skagway is everyone’s picture of what Alaska must have been like during the Gold Rush.  It is also famous as home to The White Pass and Yukon Railroad.  It is a very memorable trip.  There are also many other shore excursions available.

 

DAY 11 – GLACIER BAY SCENIC CRUISING

The trip to Glacier Bay takes you through scenery that is breathtakingly beautiful.  You travel through passages that bring you close to the rock walls and under high cliffs.

 

DAY 12 - KETCHIKAN

Native heritage plays a large role in Ketchikan's culture.  For example, the largest collection of totem poles in the world is found in Ketchikan at Totem Bight State Historical Park, Saxman Native Village and the Totem Heritage Center Museum.

 

DAY 13 – CRUISE THE INSIDE PASSAGE 

The ship's fun-loving crew will keep you busy and entertained throughout your cruise.

 

DAY 14 - VANCOUVER/HOME

Transfer from the pier (Canada Place) to Vancouver Airport
